Basic classification of roof tile:

(1) Classification by production process
a. Pressing type: forming by press, then firing
b. Extruded type: forming by extruding, then firing

(2) Classification by surface
a. Unglazed roof tile with nature color and matt surface
b. Glazed roof tile with colorful and shining surface.

(3) Classification by use
a. Clay flat roof tile is used for roofing as waterproof covering material,
b. Clay ridge roof tile is used as waterproof covering material for roof ridge,

The traditional molding methods of roof tile are extrusion molding, manual printing and grouting molding. Modern western style roof tile is molded by hydraulic press. Hantang (H&T) machinery recommends this modern method and provides a full set of equipment and technical service support.
